I have been in Ecuador for almost two week now.
There are many things happening on the horizon. The first few days I spent in Cotacachi admiring all the
changes that are occurring in our development Jauha Pacha.
The first 12 condos are completed with only a few minor finishing touches needed.
The next twelve condos have been started with an expected completion date on unit one to be finished by
August.
Foundations is in!
Of the 24 condo’s all have been sold with the exception of 6 downstairs units. So
if you have been riding the fence on purchasing a unit, now is the time to buy.
My condo unit has been furnished with the exception of a few minor things.
There are still many small things I haven’t completed yet, for example, I still need to have custom made
blinds in some of the rooms. I did have custom made drapes placed in the master bedroom and master
bath, they did a great job. I am impressed with the craftsmanship of the
local talents.
I met some more of my neighbors on this trip. They are exceptional people and very
much fun to be around, I spent much of my time laughing at there stories. They were positive and fun
loving people, what a blessing to have such neighbors.
With our new management team working for Jauha Pacha, work is getting completed on
time. I was amazed at the workers. It was a gentle rain at the work site, but our loyal employee’s
keep right on working so they wouldn’t get behind schedule.
We have purchased new machinery which should help us complete our work load on
time. The contractor took the time to show me how much faster the machines work compared to manpower.
This will be a huge time saver for the workers.
I will be heading back to Dallas May
15th. I will be returning in July to ensure completion of the condos is on track. Of
course I am in touch usually daily with my project manager.
